How to add a Sub-User to Your YorkHost Game Panel
Hello, and welcome to this tutorial that will guide you through adding a sub-user to your server.
A sub-user is a trusted person to whom you grant specific access rights to your server.
1 - Retrieving the Email Address
The first step is to collect the email address of your sub-user. This person must first create an account on YorkHost using this email address before you can add them as a sub-user to your server.
2 - Creating a Sub-User
The second step is to select the server to which you want to add a sub-user. Click on Sub-User to access the sub-user management page for that server, then click the Create button in the top right corner.
You will then be redirected to the sub-user creation page. In the Email Address field, enter the email address your sub-user used to create their YorkHost account. Next, select the permissions you wish to grant to this sub-user, then click the Create Sub-User button.
That sub-user will now be able to access your server, within the limits of the permissions you've assigned.
To remove a sub-user, simply click the Revoke button next to their name in your sub-user list — they will instantly lose access to your server. You can also modify their permissions at any time by clicking the Configure Permissions button.
3 - Accessing the Server as a Sub-User
Your sub-user now needs to log in to their YorkHost account to access the server. Once logged in, they can click the Access Advanced Management Panel button.
The server should now appear in their list of servers, and the "Server Relation" column for that entry should indicate Sub-User.
They will also be able to generate their own SFTP login credentials for that server.
