NovaLife connection problems

This guide helps you resolve connection problems to your NovaLife server.

Checks​

1. Client version​

Make sure you're using the latest NovaLife version compatible with the server.

2. Game files​

Verify file integrity via Steam:

  1. Steam Library
  2. Right-click on the game
  3. Properties > Local files
  4. Verify integrity of game files

3. Server configuration​

Check in the panel:

  • The server is started
  • The ports are correct
  • No errors in the logs

Common solutions​

Connection error​

  1. Restart the server from the panel
  2. Check the logs to identify the error
  3. Make sure the database is accessible

Timeout​

  • Check your internet connection
  • Try connecting via direct IP
  • Check that the firewall allows the connection
