Connect to your FiveM server

This guide explains how to connect to your FiveM server.

Step 1: Start the server​

First, start your FiveM server from the panel:

  1. Log in to your management panel
  2. Select your FiveM server
  3. Click Start
  4. Wait for the server to fully launch

Step 2: Open the FiveM console​

  1. Launch FiveM on your computer
  2. Press the F8 key to open the console

Step 3: Connect​

In the console, type the following command:

connect IP:PORT

Replace IP:PORT with the IP address and port of your server, displayed in the top left of your panel.

Example:

connect 51.91.123.45:30120
tip

If you have configured a domain for your server, you can use it instead of the IP:

connect myserver.example.com:30120

Step 4: Connection​

Press Enter and wait while connecting to your server.

Common issues​

Unable to connect​

  • Check that the server is running on the panel
  • Make sure the IP and port are correct
  • Verify that the ports are open (30120 by default)

Connection timeout​

  • The server may be starting up, wait a few moments
  • Check your internet connection

You can also connect via the FiveM server list by searching for your server name, if it is not configured in private mode.
