Game server installation fails

This guide helps you resolve game server installation problems.

Common causes​

1. Insufficient disk space​

Symptom: Installation stops or fails silently.

Solution:

  1. Check disk space in the panel
  2. Delete unnecessary files
  3. Contact support if you need more space

2. Download problem​

Symptom: Corrupted or incomplete files.

Solution:

  1. Reinstall the server from the panel
  2. Check your network connection
  3. Try at another time (Steam servers overloaded)

3. Incompatible version​

Symptom: Error on startup after installation.

Solution:

  1. Check game compatibility with your plan
  2. Change version in Startup settings

Clean reinstall​

  1. Backup your important data
  2. In the panel, go to Settings
  3. Click Reinstall Server
  4. Confirm the reinstallation
